Well your practice has certainly paid off, I enjoyed this picture very much. I think you did a very good job of capturing the character and this picture has a very serene, mystical feel to it. Two things captured my attention in particular, the first of which is her tattoos. I love the brushstroke texture they have, and the light-to-dark gradient, it really makes them pop. The second thing that really caught my attention was her face. I think you did a very good job capturing a bit of life and personality in her expression. I find her eyes particularly vibrant and expressive, the seem very calm yet convey an underlying tone of care and concern, while also seeming to sparkle. However their placement seems a bit off like perhaps they just slightly too far apart. Also her right eye (her right, the one that appears on the "left" when viewed head on) seems like it angles downward much sharper than her left one. It also seems like her eyes may not be level, but then again that might just be because of the angle of the tilt of her head. Perspective is difficult, and I'm certainly no master of it (and in fact my perspective of it might be skewed) so take this all with a grain of salt. But while I'm on the subject of angles and perspective, her entire face seems to be slightly out of line. Her general pose and head positioning indicate that she is looking down and slightly to the left, in the general direction of the viewer, and the frame of her face support that. However, some of her facial features, such as her nose, which looks adorable by the way, and her mouth, which you also did a great job on, I love the shy little smile, don't seem to line up with the the general direction of the face, I feel her features should be angled slightly to better align with her chin, and the mouth could also be lowered slightly. That said, I am again not an expert on perspective or anatomy, this are just the opinions of an amateur, based mostly on my persona thoughts with a tiny reference to the splash art. I in know way intended to deride or bash your art, and while it may not look like it,I really do enjoy this piece, even though this turned into more of a critic then a comment. I also realize that I am commenting well after this was posted and that my advice my no longer be relevant. But I really loved this picture from the moment I saw it, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share my thoughts. And if anything I said turns out to be actually helpful to you in regards to improving your already wonderful art style even further, well that would be pretty cool.
